| The simple complexity of
portraits has always intrigued me. Simple in style,
complex in the often silent language of openness, of
opening yourself to the subject in hopes the subject
will open to you.
Environment can be important,
light is always very important, but without a connection
between photographer and subject, the picture will
likely fail in its primary purpose, to connect the viewer to the viewed. |
